Power Conversion Considerations

Three-phase calculations use the square-root-three relationship between line voltage and phase current.

Power factor is required when converting between real power in kW and apparent power in kVA.

Voltage and current values should reflect the actual supply configuration and connected load.

Final breaker, cable and protection selections must be confirmed through proper electrical design.
