UPS Selection: UPS selection should allow for critical load growth, unknown equipment, startup behaviour and future expansion.

IT Load Note: IT and network loads can change over time. Where possible, confirm the actual load with a power meter or UPS load reading before final design.

UPS Supply Breaker: UPS supply breaker is estimated from selected UPS rating plus a 15% charger/input allowance. Final breaker size must be confirmed against the UPS manufacturer input current, cable size, fault level and site conditions.

Server Room Note: Server and rack loads should be checked against actual measured power usage where possible. Consider A/B power feeds, redundancy, monitoring and cooling.
